I was born and raised in Poughkeepsie/Hyde Park, NY, in the historical and creatively-rich Hudson River Valley.
Weaned on a steady diet of Warner Brother cartoons, a love of history, classical music and punk rock, I developed a healthy blend of creativity, rebellion, and inquisitiveness. These attributes, combined with my own talents in design and cartooning, brought many trips to the principal's office.

I am happily married. We own two Miniature Australian Shepherds that love playing chasing squirrels, and being spoiled.
I enjoy cycling, sailing, cleaning spark plugs, traveling, and hiking.
I am a member of a competitive rowing team in Long Beach.

I attended the University of Charleston in West Virginia where I studied Political Science, History and Fine Art.
I was a member of the nationally ranked rowing team, the cross country team, and a writer/illustrator for the student newspaper.
After serving as an intern to the West Virginia Secretary of State, I decided that a career in politics was not the career direction I wished to take, and enrolled and graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, PA with a degree in Visual Communications and Graphic Design.
